Research and Synthesis

A shared understanding of the social-environmental system, its dynamics and trajectories are essential as basis to identify a shared vision for the future. Our Professors and their teams engage in action-oriented research. Together with the Synthesis and Research Integration Lead they collaborate closely with our Regional Hubs in to trial innovative solutions that benefit both nature and people. The interdisciplinary Research Teams strive to deliver key insights to policymakers at various levels, in close cooperation with the Policy Outreach and Engagement team of the Wyss Academy.
