The online kick-off Event 1 of LANAT 3: “Preventing biodiversity loss in waterbodies despite climate change” took place on Wednesday, 28 January 2026 and lasted two hours. We were pleased to welcome more than 100 participants from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
During the event, we presented the project, the different teams involved, the pilot region which covers the river basins of Saane and Sense and the section of the Aare from Saane until lake of Biel, as well as the first results and outputs. Participants had the opportunity to engage through live surveys and to contribute recommendations for measures aimed at strengthening the preservation and conservation of aquatic biodiversity in the context of climate change. We thank all participants for their valuable engagement and feedback.
