Yuri Solari

Yuri Solari is a Research Fellow at GRADE in Lima, Peru. She collaborates with the Wyss Academy for Nature through a joint research initiative focused on artisanal small-scale gold mining and it's social, environmental and political impacts. An economist by training, she uses a mix of qualitative and experimental methods to study local development in extractive contexts. Her previous work includes collaborations with the Inter-American Development Bank, UNICEF, The Inter-American Dialogue, and Peruvian government institutions.
