Phokham Latthachack is an environmental science and human development expert specializing in land use and land cover change modeling, participatory mapping and climate change risk and vulnerability assessments (CRVA). He serves as the national research coordinator for the BridgingValue project, active in the NEPL National Park in Northern-Earth of Laos. Since 2005, he's been a faculty member at the National University of Laos (NUOL), where his research currently explores the intersection of land use change, ecosystem service assessment, and human well-being in Northern Laos. Passionate about community engagement, he founded Social Environmental Education and Development (SEED) in 2005, a student volunteer organization dedicated to promoting environmental, wildlife, and conservation awareness.
