Daniel Bärtschi

Raised on a pioneering Swiss organic farm, Daniel Bärtschi has a lifelong commitment to sustainable agriculture and food production. A trained farmer and agricultural college graduate, he has worked as a consultant in Switzerland and abroad and spent over a decade managing development projects in more than 20 countries—earning an MA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, USA. From 2011 to 2018, he led Bio Suisse before directing Naturama in Aarau and later founding his own consulting firm. From 2021 to 2024, he was a Global Expert for Land & Agriculture at Quantis (BCG). After a brief period in sustainable finance, he now leads the Hub Bern at the Wyss Academy, fostering a new relationship between people and nature.
